Insch Golf Club is laid out on bottom slopes of Dunnideer Hill looking towards Bennachie. Our logo shows the ruined hill fort which overlooks the course. The golf club is a vital part of the village community; not only do we have an active full playing membership, including a large group of seniors, we also have around 70 juniors who receive tuition from a dedicated group of playing and social members. The golf club supports the local football team and we provide a friendly resource for social members.
But we want to do more and develop the club further! The Inch of Insch competition is part of our ongoing fundraising effort. Full playing instructions are detailed in the Terms & Conditions - but briefly, the competition involves you selecting a number of squares on a grid which represents the 18th green. When the competition is closed an independent professional or dignitary will be invited to hit balls to the green. The person who has reserved the grid on which a ball lands will receive up to £4,000, subject to the level of entries registered.
